I think its just a rumor. Bouwer played well even though he didn't score as much. He is a big body.

Well, I think it's time somebody did say it. Grimsley Bouwer had a heck of a pre-season with the Banff Fighting Squirrels. Interesting skill set on that kid. Good defensive player, decent hands, and has the rare ability to play either forward or D. But because of a rare neurological problem, he can only play right wing or left defence. Has a tendency to skate in circles counterclockwise when not paying attention.

I'd love to see a 'trapping' team play 2 F with 3 D ... it might be boring (and stupid), but innovative, haha... maybe that's their plan.

Nah, he can be mediocre for this season and next season and turn it up on the final year of his contract and trick someone else to signing him to a another deal.
