I'm tentatively worried about what assets we might be giving up to get rid of Brouwer. He's got an NTC as well, right?

I've been a pretty staunch defender of Brouwer, but I would be pretty pumped if this came true.

He's simply overpaid for what he provides and there doesn't seem to be a great fit on any line.

I just can't see him vetoing a trade. He hasn't set down roots here, he's been a fan whipping boy, he's moved around the lineup, he needs a fresh start. Plus he seems like a good pro.

Brouwer is from the Vancouver area I believe, so their could be something to this rumour...... fingers crossed!
