Not sure that really matters, does it?
If the Adidas jerseys had a fresh design I would have gladly grabbed one of those instead. Too much of a rehash of the last few jerseys I've paid for.

You're the guy who did the Arenas Can't Hold Us remake? That song was awesome man!

Some guy tweeted that as of Matt Tkatchuk's birth, Jagr had already accumulated 667 NHL points.

That's pretty mondo.

And Craig Conroy. It is amazing that their were only 21 teams in the league then.

Some good quotes from Barkov in this article from August:

https://www.nhl.com/news/aleksander-...ng/c-290636678

Barkov admitted he was disappointed Jagr wasn't re-signed by the Panthers.

"I would be lying if I say no because he helped me so much and probably I would never be in the same situation without him," Barkov said. "When he came in, I took my game to another level and for sure everybody else on the team did too. He just helped so much everybody on the team and is one of the most important guys in my career."

How amazing would it be if Jagr scored the GW against the dirty Oilers this Wednesday to ruin their home opener.

Loubo just mentioned Jagr likely wouldn’t be playing in Edmonton on Wednesday.

I wonder how he will be on Wednesday, I'm pretty sure he's still in Europe but obviously leaving now. I have a feeling he debuts on our Home opener.

He'd be "shocked" if he did.

I don't think Loubo is speaking from a position of inside knowledge or anything, just his own speculation.

Since I'm on vacation and 4 hrs behind Calgary time, Calgaryboy sent me a whatsapp voice message and wanted to be the first to tell me the news. In the background the church bells of Hodonin are going off. I like to think that's because Jagr signed and all of Czech are celebrating.

@dalter
The Atlanta/Calgary Flames and Jaromir Jagr were both born in 1972.

I would be okay with that.

Oiler fans are not worthy of seeing Jagr's first game as a Flame.
