So excited about Deshaun Watson. The Texans haven't seen QB play at the level since...ever.

As much as I dislike anything working for Denver Jamaal Charles has been looking decent wfrom what I've seen. Glad to see him healthy.

The Falcons are a dropped TD pass and an iffy call away from being 1-3. There's no one looking like a dominant team in the NFC except maybe the Rams? 3-1 with a vastly improved offence with a mean and stingy defence. And GB.

Meanwhile, the Patriots lose to a division rival Carolina.

I'm expecting a tsunami, an earthquake and a volcanic eruption momentarily.

Interesting stat that made the shutout more impressive to me: today's Saints starting D was the youngest starting D fielded in an NFL game since the 1991 season.

Tony Romo calling plays before they happen is a bit like that friend that always spoils movies.

honestly though, he's really good as an analyst.

Romo's awesome. All he needs to do is learn when to reel it in and stop cutting off the PBP guy, he talks a little too much. Colour guy is there to support the PBP guy, not the other way around, which I don't think he's figured out yet. But as someone in their first month ever as a commentator he's been impressive.

This is my first game watching with Romo on colour. I've heard a lot about the hype and it's pretty deserved. Obviously he just knows what's up, what's about to happen, why things happened but he's clearly just super excited to be there and loving it. It's pretty infectious.

Per the Elias Sports Bureau, the Patriots have allowed more than 30 points in three consecutive home games for the second time in team history, and the first time since 1975. Only one defending Super Bowl champion has ever allowed more points through four games than the Patriots' 128 this season (1987 Giants, 129).

is Denver playing a prevent D? EJ Manuel looking like a legitimate QB

Edit: it’s the same story every week. VJ gets out coached in the second half and Denver tries to hold on for dear life.

I feel bad for Niner fans cause their team got absolutely shafted by the officials today. On the positive for them losses are good.

Denver at 3-1 with the offense as pedestrian as it has been is a great thing. The running game is better and that's helping. 3 home wins in the first 4 games, that means there are 7 road games left. Scary.

That defense though.......great play by Justin Simmons today to seal the win. TJ Ward can't make that play.
