First, the obligatory “it’s only preseason guys...”
So far, through two periods, the Nucks (a team everyone believes will be a lottery team and is not dressing its two best players, and is playing its first game back since travelling from China) >> Flames (a team dressing basically its full roster except for 3rd or 4th line fodder).
Their goalie has been better.
Their PK and PP have been better.
Their defence has been better.
Their passing has been better.
Their compete level has been better.
Their hockey intelligence has been better.
Flames need to start taking things seriously, or next Wednesday is going to be another opening night slaughter.
Add to that
Oilers team which had a majority of roster players tore us apart up in Edmonton and a AHL roster from the Oilers tore our more veteran team apart in Calgary

Are you kidding me, wow and I thought I was drinking to much tonight, there are no words for your comments except about Wednesday being a slaughter unless we get our S*** together

Smith is good for at least one brutal goal a game. He is also terrible at playing the puck. Stop already, confidence is one thing, doesn't mean it's warranted in this case.
Giordano, Brodie, stone making that d look like the most overrated in the league.
Forwards unable to generate anything. Look damn slow.
Good thing it's preseason, but it sure feels like this team is going to give up a touchdown opening night.
Thought I'd flip over to thursday night football for more entertainment value....and if possible it's more excruciating to watch than flames/canucks preseason.
