I think people need to be ready for Bartkowski to stay. It makes the most sense in a 7 dman setup. Just because he stays, doesn't mean he plays every night. Who the 7th is, is anyone's guess.

Do they go with a young guy who has earned it? Then sub in Bart when the kid needs to watch a game from the press box? Or do they just default to the most boring option of Kulak and Bart?

Nobody has really forced any hands, so I would bet on Bart and Kulak.

He's not even good on the bottom pairing let's be honest. He's playing for a job and he's been terrible. Rasmus has looked much better imo, Kulak has been nothing but awful this preseason. He's not a prospect anymore and I really don't see what he does that makes him good enough to be on the team. He doesn't hit, he doesn't score, his defensive play is suspect. Not good

Yeah it grinds my gear that TSN tailors their regional coverage to that specific fanbase better than SN does for the Flames. Oh look Flames vs. Pens, lets talk about McDavid ad naseum.

Flames use the preseason in the same way I play nhl franchise mode preseason.
