I think Bartkowski has the secret flames proposal that nobody was supposed to see. Only way he keeps being thrown into the line-up and not into the sun.

Flames are not anticipating well is what I'm seeing. In part due to most not being regular NHLers. They don't seem to know where to be at times when the Jets are moving into the offensive zone.

Gulutzan has history with him and I suppose there's some sort of familiarity and comfort level (you would have to ask him what it is as I can't explain it). Most coaches like to bring a pet player or two from past teams and for the Flames it's been Grossmann, Bartkowski, Lack, and Glass.
