Rocket Richard's points total rises to 966

		| Among the finds was an assist on a Toe Blake goal at 10:15 of the second period of a 6-5 Boston Bruins victory over Montreal on Nov. 4, 1945, during a time when the Punch Line of Richard, Blake and Elmer Lach was terrorizing the league. The scoresheet that night, in handwriting akin to hen scratching, correctly had Richard with the lone assist. But when it was transcribed into the league's official ledger, it was given to Emile (Butch) Bouchard — an understandable mistake.

Good, now all they have to do is add 1 goal to Martin Gelinas' totals.

And move 1 Stanley Cup banner and trophy. Get it out of the wind and rain in Tampa and we'll just hang on to it here. And dye it Red. And change a few things.

Was also my first thought. There's now a record for most posthumous NHL points. Wherever he may be, Nathan Smith is thinking, "I played 26 NHL games over five years and didn't score a point, while Rocket is still scoring them he's dead". Humbling.

I just found out my dad won his offices 1945/46 season hockey pool. His estate will be receiving two dollars, plus interest

			Cool story thanks.
The next step should be a video review of all Oilers games to remove assists incorrectly given to Gretzky by homer score keepers.
