			Surprised to see Kylington sent down - but at the same time, being a top pairing, 1st unit PP guy in the AHL is still good experience for him, and I think the progress he showed this pre-season is very promising.
 ...I think Andersson is still up because Colorado is scouting him.

			Excuse my ignorance but should we expect more cuts today (outright cuts, back to junior)?
 Or are they now planning to do another cull in the coming days?

I'd be really surprised if he makes the team. He's had a train wreck of a preseason so far. Giveaway after giveaway.

It saddens me that he's still on the roster at this stage. Very worrisome. If he's anything more than an extra guy munching popcorn, I'd be questioning GG's decision making prowess.

			@WesGilbertson#Flames first group this morning — 14 F, 8 D and 2 G — has a very, very big-league look. Includes Glass, Jankowski, Kulak, Wotherspoon.

			Looks like Glass, Jankowski, Kulak, Wotherspoon, Bartkowski are in the remaining battles:
 Wes Gilbertson  @WesGilbertson
 #Flames first group this morning — 14 F, 8 D and 2 G — has a very, very big-league look. Includes Glass, Jankowski, Kulak, Wotherspoon.

 Pat Steinberg  @Fan960Steinberg
 #Flames practice has a somewhat “opening day” feel to it. 14 forwards, 8 D, and Smith/Lack as the goalies.

 Darren Haynes  @DarrenWHaynes
 With 39 skaters in camp, first group on ice made up 14 F, 8 D, 2 G. Beyond the 5 locks, Wotherspoon, Kulak, Bartkowski the other blueliners.

			I haven't seen any games Glass has played in, how has he looked? He can't play hockey but maybe he's impressing the management.

			Glass has been great. Maybe the most impressive player in that bubble (Hathaway, F. Hamilton, Stajan).
 I was fully prepared to hate him.

That's the worry. Most PTO's try their arse off enough to earn a contract and either disappear, or are extremely noticeably bad as the season wears on.

			So far the only thing I really disagree with so far is Bartkowski still up. Train wreck.

			The other practice group is going to be weird.
 12 forwards

 Valimaki-Andersson

 Gillies
 Rittich

 Hope Valimaki and Andersson had their Wheaties this morning.

Ifeel like he's been the beneficiary of some excellent play from Dube and Lomberg but I agree, he's been better than I expected. IIRC Rangers fans hate him.

100% agree here. I had it in my head when they gave him the PTO that he was going to be training camp fodder, but was worried that the flames would give him a spot anyway like they did last year with the defenceman who's name I chose to forget.

I remember hearing Glass' interview on the fan960 after he signed, he was so sure of himself that he was going to come in a play for this team this year.

I can honestly say if he makes the team this year (assuming he continues to play this way) I'm completly ok with it, he's earning it

Is he in a injured / otherwise unable to play situation? Therefore unable to be cut at this moment? Haven't seen him skating in a while

			No more cuts for today, but maybe tomorrow or Monday
 Pat Steinberg
 @Fan960Steinberg
 Gulutzan says “nagging things” necessitated a smaller roster trim today. Expects to be down to 15 F and 8 D tomorrow or Monday. #Flames
