This is ridiculous but on a good note, we won't be subject to one in the 2nd half.

Just how many people show up to Lions games? Seems like a fairly low turnout.

According to Wikipedia lower bowl capacity is 22k for MLS and I'm assuming it's the same for CFL. So less than that because it rarely looks full.

Alex Green looks really good, or the Lions run defence is really bad.

For CFL games capacity is closer to 27,000 in the lower bowl. They tarp a lot of seats for soccer. Either way, it's not a good average. BC should be getting 25-30,000 easy.

18,091 fans last night according to this article, but that must have been tickets sold because I don't even think there was 10,000 fans at BC Place last night.

amazing how far durant has fallen during the season. thought he looked OK in the first few games. Calvillo has not shown much as an OC/QB coach over the past couple seasons.

Durant looks horrible and receivers are dropping passes left and right. Calvillo was a great QB but it doesn't look he fits in as a coach. Kavis Reed is just Kavis Reed. He is a horrible coach. He was saved by a good Eskimos team before. I feel bad for Nik Lewis having to play in Montreal. He was a good individual season but too bad he plays with a crappy team. I think Durant will be done after this season.

Dave Campbell@Dave_CHED
And the #Eskimos have signed another kicker in Swayze Waters. #CFL

Wasn't he used to kick for Toronto?

Yes he did and at the beginning of this season, he was with the Lions and lost the job to rookie Ty Long (I think the fact that Waters was looking for significantly more money factored quite heavily in the decision for Wally to cut him loose). That and the fact that he's had some injury issues over the last couple of years.

I wonder if Jones has decided to go with Bridge at QB moving forward which is a real ratio breaker and would allow Richardson to be on the field full time.
Dude has the pedigree and talent to be a really good RB.

Oh that's right. My mistake.
Weirdest rule ever.
At any rate, i think this guy could be a real steal for the Riders...unfortunately.

I guess time will tell, but aside from his rookie season in the NFL, he struggled pretty bad down south. Also...
Derek Taylor@DTonSC
Trent Richardson hasn't taken a snap since 2014. He averaged 3.3 yards per rush over 4 NFL seasons. #RiderPride

That offense misses Marshall bad at RB. Nothing flashy but solid in all facets.
EDIT: Just saw some pictures and he looks like hes been spending lots of time in the gym. I'll eat my words if he does something productive up here.

Kavis is desperate. Waste of time. Colin and his agent had ruled out even entertaining the idea of coming to the CFL. And at that point Hamilton dropped him from their Neg list, where Montreal later added him.
Quote:
After Tuesday’s practice, Reed admitted he has reached out to Kaepernick’s agent, basically to inform him of the situation, but has never spoken to the former San Francisco 49er. Kaepernick hasn’t been invited to Montreal, either for a visit or to work out for the team, Reed quickly added.
“He’s in the midst of some very important things,” Reed said. “We understand there’s a movement going on around him. We’re doing our due diligence and making certain they know we want to see where he’s at. It’s a matter of kicking the tires at this stage.
“To me, he’s a very good player. Take all the movement stuff aside. He’s a young man that we feel has a very good football IQ. He has taken a team to a championship level. The talent’s there. As a GM, you have to look at the talent. It’s incumbent on us to explore it.”
