I don't undertand why ppl think he's a bust. if you follow the WD era, you would know Desjardins hated Virtanen from the very start. didn't give him any meaningful ice time.

I mean, blame the guy if you want but they haven't helped him much. Canucks have 20 shots this period despite being shorthanded for half of it. Plus he saved two sure goals. So I'm not putting the blame on Gillies.
... I'm putting it on Bartkowski, like everyone else.
