Usually right after the split squad games is when they cut like half of the players, right? I hope they get it down to almost the opening night roster pretty soon. Last year they spent way too much time playing guys that were never going to make the team.

Kind of annoying that I can watch the freaking Islanders in glorious HD but have to resort to, like, 240p (audio not-synced) on my laptop to see my favorite team

It's more amazing in today's day and age sportsnet won't broadcast Flames vs Oilers but will prop up a crappy Vancouver team with every game on TV.
