It is supposedly at eight games now following an impressive victory at the Young Stars tournament a couple weeks ago, and includes a pair of all important split-squad pre-season games in 2016.

It's comical how upset most Oiler Fans remain over the last decade of what most of us referred to the "Yearly allocation of free points of Alberta".

They would need to sweep several season series over several years to come close evening our head to head record since the 90s. We absolutely stomped on them for years.

I'm amazed that they aren't going to raise a banner for their rare success over the Flames last year.

Personally, I'm watching the Edmonton game because I'm more interested in the defensive battle and I want to see the white jerseys in action (and #4 Tyler Wotherspoon). But pick whichever.

Yeah. More curious about the game in Edmonton because much of the squad present for the game in Calgary are locks in that one.

On the flipside, only Bennett (and maybe Stajan & Lazar) is a lock for the actual opening night lineup regarding the Flames game in EDM.

Just watch both. I'll throw both games on the 2nd larger monitor and go back and forth between audio. Both will have downtime, different breaks etc.

And neither will work until the 2nd period anyways.
