As good as Wong is on the ice, he's an even better person off it. What a great kid for the community in Lethbridge, he was given a key to the City of Lethbridge for his contributions while he was here.
Both of my sons got to be the Hurricanes 7th skater for a game the past couple of years and I was so impressed with how Wong went the extra effort to make my kids feel comfortable and have fun with them.
I hope Wong makes the NHL.

I just turned this on a few minutes ago, but are Vancouver playing anyone who's likely to start on opening night for them? Boeser I guess? And this is a home game. I'd be pretty pissed off if I'd paid for tickets to watch an AHL game.

Wong is absolutely buzzing out there. I understand it's not the A squad he's playing against or with, but if this is any indication of how he will compete at this level, I think he will make the team, even as a bottom 6, Paul Byron type player.

Their vets are all flying to China for their games against the Kings later this week. I hope they didn't charge full-price for this, but they probably did.
