Canadians (and other countries) as the canary down the mine shaft as far as streaming services. Nothing has changed for this season in the US, still on cable, for the Sunday games. But the NFL knows there’s more money to be had by offering product up on different platforms, and that means streaming. So Canadians get to deal with the issues while the NFL takes notes of the problems, for its eventual jump/dual offering of online and conventional presentation.
Was thinking of testing this out, though my team is on local TV every week. MLB at bat was an awesome app and experience. But, individual games there doesn’t have the crush of viewers that are tuning in all at once every Sunday.

Nice drive by Bradford. Diggs with the TD.
My 8 year old is finally ready to watch the games with his old man. Good night so far.

Bradford to Diggs again. Vikes up 16-6 at the half. Cook, the rookie RB, looks alright.

The NFC North is going to be a war.

Has it really been 340 or so days since the Vikings started 5-0? Yeah I remember how that ended. But it is week one, the time for optimism and bold proclamations.

I never tried DAZN, but all my friends on the East Coast seem to think it worked
Fine. Complete opposite of everything I'm hearing out here.

I thought DAZN was fine but I mainly use it for Redzone. Not flipping channels for me.

Denver/SD has the worst commentary team ever. This is awful.

Beth Mowins has done a few Raiders preseason games so I'm used to her. She's not that bad IMO and Rex Ryan is pretty green so maybe they could have set her up with a more seasoned colour man. It's a little rough around the edges but few all-new combinations shine right away.

How do you flip channels with streaming games? In addition to the shoddy product this bothers me as well as I could flip back and forth between several games but it's nearly impossible to do this seamlessly without having to go through a lot of pauses and buffering.

This is one of the only issues I have with it, but I used game pass on Apple TV in the past and it was the same for me.
I never had issues with a Dazn, but just now I was out and was using shaw open wifi and watching on my phone and it was pretty bad, so I wonder if that could be an issue for people

I can't believe Payton didn't go for it on 4th & goal late in the game down 3 scores. You've changed, man..

Beth's commentary seems to be fine. Her voice just doesn't fit - too raspy.

Beth is fine, she's great. Rex Ryan sounds like he's two Quaaludes and three fingers of scotch deep.

My hot take from the DEN/LAC game. The Chargers aren't a good team.

With how desperate teams are for a QB they should probably just deal Rivers and get on with the future. Whether they win four games with him or two games without him, well, probably better to win two and maybe get the number one pick.
