When do you start putting up Christmas decorations?
Until the first FPAG sighting? Dec 1st?
I usually put up the tree November 25th, a month before. Then after that get all the outdoor lights up by December 1st.
I see quite a few places with Christmas lights up ALREADY, a tad too soon no?

I heard Christmas music playing in a store yesterday. Can't say I didn't start humming along.. but way too soon.. and I love the Christmas season.

Years past stores would put decorations up after Remembrance Day, but this year I noticed things were up before... can't say I mind it though... best time of the year!

I usually try to put up the lights the first warm day in November. However I won't turn them on until December 1st.

Trying to stretch Xmas into a two month holiday is a little ######ed IMO. I don't think Christmas belongs anywhere but in December...but then again, that's just me.

I hate wandering malls trying to buy gifts for family members who have everything.
Christmas? Bah humbug!

Also, what are your buying habits? In my family we draw names. We only have to buy one present for one person. I almost exclusively buy 2 or 3 days before the big day. Planned Procrastinating FTW!

We will be putting up our tree and lights up during the last weekend of November or the 1st weekend of December.

What does FPAG stand for??
If we put up christmas lights we don't usually do it until my brother and I get back from university because my parents would rather we do it than do it themselves.

As much as I agree with many of you trying telling this stuff to my wife.
As soon as haloween was over my wife made me pull out the christmas tree from the basement.
Advice for all of you who hate shopping just like me.

I was in Superstore on the 29th of October, two days before Hallowe'en, and I thought I would check out some of the costumes.
One employee was just finishing removing all the Hallowe'en costumes/decorations from the aisle, while at the other end of the aisle, other employees were putting up Christmas merchandise. I was shocked!
I don't put any decorations or a tree up. My friends/family think I'm the Grinch.

I don't do any Christmas decorations either. I don't see the point.
