Good game. The Flames were a lot less sloppy than in the previous game.

Still pretty sloppy team play, but some solid individual efforts.

Said it before and I'll say it again:
Rasmus Andersson > Olli Juolevi
now and moving forward.

Valimaki >>> both of them. I liked Andersson's wristers through traffic, and after two viewings, I can see a lot of Good Wideman in him.
I'm all aboard the Valimaki hype train.

I think so too, but Andersson was a 2nd round pick and I've thought since the Canucks drafted Juolevi that Andersson would be the better player regardless of their draft spots.
Valimaki has looked great. I expect he'll be a gem for us too.

I can't wait to watch this one man, sounds like it was fun. Was browsing HFCanucks and the posts there have me laughing.

Was able to watch the entire game a couple hours late after coming back from work.
Fun viewing.
My thoughts.
I thought Fischer looked good in period 1 of both games, but less so in the later periods.
Janko as everyone is saying is NHL level. Awesome.
I thought Dube was a bit of a puck hog, but show some great dangles.
Foo is good. That whole top line looked dominant.
Smith has been disappointing, though did pick it up when things got a little more physical. He lost that fight unfortunately.
I was disappointed in Philips also. I was hoping for a little more from him (pun not intended).
Valimaki and Anderson look great. I can see why so many are excited about Valimaki though the 2 years elder Anderson is the better defense man right now.
Goaltending was solid though not hugely tested.

Foo says he didn't touch the first goal, so it's Janko's 2nd.

My Thoughts:
I like Jankowski - a head above everyone else on the ice
Foo looked good
Healey threw some big hits
Andersson was great. Really impressed
Valimaki was pretty good too
Vancouver had a guy named LaPlante who was big, a pest, and had a really good game.
Ruzicka looked a step slow but there are skills
Smith looked 2 steps behind Ruzicka
