Stopped in to the 130th Avenue EB Games since I've actually had luck getting pre-orders hours after an item was released (FE Fates SE and the Switch). Yeah, lol no. They were allocated 36 units and were sold out within an hour.
That 36 figure though does suggest to me that Nintendo is producing more as promised. They just, obviously, have still woefully underestimated demand.
Yes, the Target orders from Canada were canceled because "because one or more items are restricted by Customs". Target uses Borderfree.com for international orders, a company that specializes in making it painless to purchase items and have them shipped internationally. Good job, guys!
Got that email yesterday, which was OK since that was my backup (which I promised to a friend, so only he was out).
Then today I get an email from BestBuy about my order...but thankfully just the regular "blah blah, your order is awaiting its release date". Phew!
Hopefully the Amazon.ca pre-sale goes live soon. I know a lot of people are waiting for it! Maybe even coming back into this thread hoping the latest post had a useful update.
