As I watched the final set, all I could think is that Sloane is basically doing nothing but defending, but she defended masterfully and Venus just couldn't find the winners.

I tend to think that was more Keys destroying her than anything. Sloane doesn't have much of a chance if Madison bring that on Saturday.

The key for Rafa to win today is to be ruthless and attack Delpo's backhand. Make him hit 100 backhands in the first set alone. He would also be wise to serve and volley a bit as Delpo can put almost nothing into his backhand and would allow the easy put away from Nadal. Hopefully Delpo gets tight on his serve and Nadal can break 1 or 2 times each set. Delpo has won the last 2 meetings with Nadal including the Olympics last year so this will not be an easy match at all for Nadal. I'm predicting he takes it in 4 sets and then faces PCB in the finals.

Edit: Anderson now leads two sets to 1 - Serving big time in that third set.
