Default The most underrated show on TV: Desperate Housewives

At the risk of being completely laughed at, I am just going to come out and say that this is one pretty good show. I am about half way through season 1 and I am totally hooked.

Is there a chance that any one else on this site watches Desperate Housewives? If you are not, you don't know what you are missing.

You know how I know you're gay? Just kidding. No I don't watch it. Mainly because it's on at the same time as Family Guy.

I watched it when it was actually good.

Now the show sucks and I've stopped watching.

Don't you also dye your hair red Sunil?

Just playing bud... but no, I've never seen the show before... Prison Break and The Sopranos... now those shows I like!

Oh, I'm sure there are members of the site who watch it. Mango, Eastern girl probably.

I don't get the hype around it. It's seems to be a (slightly) better acted daytime soap opera.

+1

First season was good, but now they're just rambling on about nothing.

No, I have never watched it before. It never interested me. I see it, and I could be wrong as I have never watched an episode, as one of those shows where everyone is just sleeping with everyone else and that's all it is. That doesn't interest me. Plus as someone mentioned, it's on during Family Guy.

I've never watched it. The thought of being able to see scantily clad Terri Hatcher and Eva Longoria though should be enough to make me tune in, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

This is the reason that I have watched before, never made it through a full episode before but the women are hot and are not scared to show it.

I use to bug my wife all the time for watching that show, then one day I sat down and watched it with my wife and was hooked, I went out the next day and bought season 1. Season 2 really went down hill, but season 3 has really picked up. Last weeks episode one of the best episodes on any show Ive ever watched. Its a great show but Grey's Anatomy is better.

I watched the first season, but got bored. I think the novelty wore off or something. But I disagree with the title of this thread, as I think it is one of the most overrated shows on tv right now.

I admit I did watch it when it first came on TV. Put the appeal quickly wore off by the second season.

The most under-rated show on TV is in fact: The Wire.

Well maybe not under-rated, under-watched perhaps is the better word.

The only thing you'd be missing is Terri Hatcher, and I couldn't even set and watch 'Dark Angel' for Alba or 'Alias' for Garner (I tried but it just wasn't happening) so I definitely wouldn't set and watch what MMF is describing as a soap.

I must admit that the sight of Marcia Cross still makes me think that Kimberly is about to blow up every house on the entire street. That Kimberly is one messed up bitch, don't trust her!!!!

totf, want to have a DH night. I'll bring the coolers...

Seriously, I like good tv, and I've tried watching this show but just can't stand it... I do check it out sometimes for the women though, Teri Hatcher, and the Hot Hispanic Chick (lol)
