I would be fine with 10-15 goals and 35-45 points.
Because who else do we have that can contribute that laying around?
I guess if we think Lazar and Janko both can, then Jagr isn't needed.

That's alot to expect out of both those 2 in their rookie years and that's if Janko makes the team. Not unrealistic, but definitely alot to expect.

You bring in Jagr for so much more than 35-45 points.
If you're Brad Treliving, I think you want your two franchise players to witness how a guy who spent three years in Russia in his late 30s managed to work his way into #2 all time in scoring, and 100% deserves his NHL roster spot at age 45.
You sign Jagr so the young core of this team can follow him around like a pack of golden retriever puppies and learn from him.
You get all that wisdom PLUS 35-45 points + the jersey sales and profile that man still brings.
Get Bennett figured out, and sign Jaromir Jagr so I can give you some money.

YES! Hopefully this is true so we can move on. Hopefully in the coming days Iginla will retire or sign somewhere outside of Alberta so we can move on from discussing retreads. The guy wanted no part of playing in Calgary.

My goodness what a clown Boomer is. When you are on the radio you need to at least double check tweets for accuracy if you are going to pass them on over the airwaves as news. Embarrassing.

In the social media age, news has become about "who can say it first". And it is valued WAY higher than "who can say it accurately"

I hope he signs even more now just so I can quote you later "the guy wanted no part of signing in Calgary".

Apparently the app from theScore screwed up and sent this out earlier in the morning. But if you check Rotowire and theScore now, there's no sign of this.

Dammit...
There was a short period where CP was down and I assumed it was because the server was overwhelmed following the announcement of Jagr's signing.
I'll keep waiting I guess.........
