Chances are by the time Jon/Dany/Tyrion are aware of Cersei's lie, they'll be knee deep in zombies. The zombies have less distance to cover to get to Winterfell (even if they shuffle) than Jaime does to ride to Winterfell.

Blue blast?

Blue is not a temperature. Blue is not a flavour.

Propane burns blue and the color also is indicative of perfect combustion. Trying to apply any science into the discussion I suppose we could surmise the dead dragon emits a hotter, more efficient flame in a discussion of fire breathing dragons.

Lots of elements burn blue:

I'm going to guess this is an arsenic spewing flame dragon.

I don't think the temperature of the flame is as important as the concussive force. it looked like the beam was blowing away chunks of wall rather than just melting it. the same thing happens whenever Drogon uses his fire, it causes the target to explode violently and splintered a ship in half. it's basically a medieval version of the Cyclops optic blast.

I imagine we'll have a Braveheart type moment, where Dany/Jon's forces are about to fight and half of their army just abandons them on the battlefield. It would be the most effective way to ensure that both the WW's and Dany/Jon's forces are wiped out.

Cersei can then send in her forces to wipe up the mess.

We might see Dany/Jon get wise to this plan and double-double cross Cersei though in a Revenge of the Sith type moment, where during a battle, one party turns on the other.

It'll be interesting to see who gives up Cersei though. Could be any of Tyrion, Jaime, or even Euron. Euron seems far too self-serving and knows too much. Despite his bravado, he also seems like someone who would roll-over on his allies if things got tough.

Sorry, which part of that ensures the white walkers are wiped out?

At this point I think it's just as likely that Cersei makes a marriage proposal to the Night King. Seems like her kind of guy.

Good episode.

However I'm not happy with the way they are starting to portray Theon.. hell I was confused as tof why he was even present in that meeting.

I'm also concerned at how they are starting to split up characters. It seems that everyone we are rooting for is heading up North which may point to a "good vs evil" type of theme in season 8.

Apparently, many years ago, Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey dated for a while and had a very ugly break-up. When they were cast to play Bronn and Cersei, they had it written into their contracts that they'd never have to appear on set together.

That likely explains why Bronn and Podrick "go for a drink" just before Cersei arrives.

Just theorizing but whats to stop Jamie from showing up wherever all or part of the Lannister army is camped at currently and saying 'Ok boys, we're going north'. Are they going to say no?
I suppose some ravens could have been sent out saying to ignore the gold handed man, hes not in charge anymore. Or their whole army is at KL which he just left. Be better than him showing up in the north alone.

Except that's a narrative that GOT has done a good job avoiding. GRRM has done a good job of storytelling from different perspectives. The idea is there are no good or bad, just houses looking out for their best interests

Actually.. looking back that's the same hallway/set/location that Tyrion and Jamie go down before Tyrion goes to see Cersei from last nights episode. Albeit dressed up slightly different.

Notice how in the close-up shots you can't see both their faces in the same shot at the same time. The wide shot is likely a digital composite.

Jesus, how ugly could that breakup have been for two professional actors to refuse to be on the same set as each other.

Did they murder each other's parents?

No, probably not. They're not wasting time and money to digitally create a shot of Bronn and Cersei walking past each other, it's not so important they'd NEED to get it. Likely they agreed to do this and that's actually them, in a scene together.

I have no idea about the rumors or the hatred between the two, there probably is something to it, but that's them together in at least one tiny tiny tiny scene.

In the good wife Julianna Margulies refused to do scenes with Archie Punjabi the last 2 or 3 seasons, they were face to face in basically every episode before that

The reasons never gotten out

So it does happen

Also they did digitally create a scene in the finale for those two, so I imagine got would have no problem doing it

Well then fill me in, oh enlightened one. What was the logic or goal that can explain all of the different choices she made?

Was she trying to divide Jon and Dany, as it would seem from the pre-storm out negotiations? If so, why come back and not only accept a truce but pledge Lannister soldiers?

Was she trying to divert Jon and Dany's attention to the North, giving her time to consolidate her hold on the South? If so, then why end negotiations and storm out, with no intention of returning, just because Jon won't stay neutral? And why pledge Lannister soldiers for the fight against the Night King, with no intention to follow through, instead of just accepting a truce? When the soldiers never start to march North, Jon and Dany would know immediately that Cersei was lying!
