Its hard to say how much they missed out on seeing as how he basically chose the worst team in the league. That says a fair bit about him.

Yeah, but I live out here and it's all they have been talking about since they found out they were in the running. I personally don't think he will turn into anything. Business is slow, at least it's something to mock them with.

Fair enough, but man, choosing between Vancouver or Colorado is like playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded revolver.

It is indeed a good time to be a Flames fan. Living in Vancouver June 15 2011 was almost the worst day of my life. I literally had about 4 or 5 unfriend me due to my drunken Facebook posts basking in the Canucks defeat that day. Good times ahead my friend. (hopefully).

Can't really blame the guy. If you're looking to get an NHL salary fast and kickstart your career, Colorado is a pretty good place to go. It's not like there's a lot of competition for him there.

He chose the worst team in the league over the next worst team in the league. The fact that he is a BC boy and still preferred the Denver mess to the Vancouver mess is probably another kick in the jewels for the Canucks and their fans.

LOL, I got "unfriended" over a comment about watching out for tear gas and rubber bullets with 5 minutes left in the 3rd period. They were definitely a sensitive bunch that day.

Just looked this kid up on hockeyDB, actually had crazy good stats. But tiny for a center.

I get the lol canucks are bad stuff, but this is not some 'miss', it's a college free agent ticket who would have been way down the depth chart, not sure what caused him to choose Colorado over the other teams, the Rangers were thought of as the favorite, but this wasn't a sweepstakes like Schultz was a few years ago

It is a miss for Vancouver, because as marginal a NHL player he might be, he still looks like he could compete for a roster spot on that gawd-awful collection of Canucks forwards. It would not be a big deal for most others teams, but Vancouver needs all the help they can get.
