Default College Football Thread

Thought WVA thread was starting to get off track, so I decided to start this one.

Texas up 7-0 on KSU.

USC begins its run tonight with a tough matchup with Oregon, who have a QB that likes to run and SC always has trouble with those offenses. I still think Oregon will be overwhelmed at the Coliseum (no one on their current team has ever played there) and SC should win by 10.

Boise State is trailing San Jose State. That should put and end to the whining of their fans.

They end up pulling it off with a last second kick.

I think we can all agree that Boise State really doesn't have much of a claim for a BCS bowl game and won't even if they go undefeated.

I agree. Boise fans seem to think they're entitled to something though.

EDIT: KSU goes up 21-14

KSU's D has been tenacious. Ian Campbell looks like a beast out there.

Looks like USC will take care of Oregon - unfortunately Cal lost to Ariz which may hamper the Trojans run for a National Title shot

K-State takes out Texas. Unbelievable.

Ron Prince has done one hell of a job turning that team around from the start of the year. A month ago they wouldn't have beaten North Texas.

If USC wins out they'll be there for sure I think. They'll be #4 in the BCS after the upsets this week and Florida only has the SEC Championship left to play (unless a medicore team finally puts it together and beats them). Even with Cal's loss they'll still be a top 15 team and Notre Dame should be #5 or #6 when they play USC. Two wins like that should be enough to put USC over Florida even if they can upset (yes Arkansas should be favored) in the SEC Championship...if they can win them both.

New rankings out today. USC moves up to #3 with Florida and Notre Dame rounding out the top 5. Arkansas moves up to #7 behind Rutgers.
