I really don't get all the complaining. I feel all the characters are being true to their developmental arcs. Also, the rapid pace and battles seeming trivial just reinforces the sense of what Jon expressed in saying they are all children playing at games while the real conflict is yet to come. There is a sense of build up in this rush, it's just that the pieces are being hurried into place for the major drama of the battles against the white walkers.

I'm fine with condensed GoT, it's been a fun ride and now it's time to wrap it up, the books will eventually be there when I want a more fleshed out story.
I'm pretty sure Euron must be magic, didn't he get stabbed about a dozen times (also, neutered) during the Battle? He seems to have a stacked hand but is playing things very close to his chest.

simple, he asked for 1000 ships to be built and it was done. other than having a size advantage in both battles so far, he seems to be able to just appear right on top of an opposing fleet with absolutely zero warning. it was sort of explainable the first time because it was at night and possibly foggy, but then he did it again in broad daylight at Casterly Rock. Grey Worm had no idea they were in the vicinity until he just looked up and saw all his ships already in the process of being burned and sunk.
I think that was for dramatic effect, obviously, but if you can catch a fleet of ships in an enclosed bay (or better yet, anchored) it is like shooting fish in a barrel.
From the way the scene played out, I think Nymeria absolutely recognized Arya. Or, at the very least, she recognized that there was a time when she was called by the name Nymeria. She was ready to rip Arya's face off until Arya started talking to her, then her whole demeanor changed.
She didn't go with Arya because she has moved beyond the point in her life where she can just be the pet to a young girl in a castle... Just as Arya has moved well beyond being a young girl in a castle.
Plus, Arya will probably need the wolf to come flying out of nowhere when she is in an inescapable situation to save the day at some point in the future.
It's not as dramatic if the wolf joins up with her now.
Agreed. The whole thing seemed like a self-important mopey dick move.

It was actually frustrating seeing that exchange between Bran & Sansa because there is so much important stuff that isn't being shared while the fate of the bloody world hangs in the balance.
I feel that it might be best if they do a new series of GOT after all the books are out (whether it's GRRM finishing it or otherwise). That way things can be fleshed out properly as the last couple seasons since they have been going past the source material have gone off the rails by in large.

I'm guessing that part of it is bran being f-,ed in the head, but...
The entire North, including all the women and children, are gearing up for a war against mysterious zombies. Bran knows a lot about these zombies. You'd think he'd have sightly more to say.
I think Bran wanted to make her uncomfortable because she's not trustworthy and he wanted her to know he sees everything.
Yep, it creates an interesting tension with her and Littlefinger's politicking. The same episode having the "fight every battle, everywhere, always in your mind" line seems relevant. Will Sansa or Littlefinger see Bran as a resource, or as a threat? Is Bran so cold towards her because of something else he knows she will do? Sansa is an interesting character right now, the most interesting she has ever been.

I said this before, but beyond setting up for Bran to reveal more later, I think the scene had two purposes.
1. Establish that he's not in control of his power yet. He mentions everything being in pieces.
2. Establish that he's not the same anymore. Kid basically has PTSD. He hardly identifies as human. I think this is foreshadowing him going full Three Eyed Raven (crazy man living underground in a tree) or going full on warg and just straight up moving his consciousness into a dragon.

The last three books were off the rails, and mired in muck.
The showrunners have done a masterful job of cutting out all that crap that Martin bored us to death with, starting book 3 and continued brilliantly beyond Martin's ramblings.

The problem with the Warf the dragon is one of the dragons is going to die and the other pair with Jon so we are out of Dragons for Bran.
Maybe that's how Bran dies. Could explain how morose he is all the time, if he knows he's going to die. After the previous 3 eyed raven said Bran would fly, it'd be a bit of a letdown if he doesn't warg into a dragon.
