Reading that the last ditch effort on passing something about healthcare is just a narrow repeal of the individual mandate and little else. So basically sabotage the current system and guarantee it fails.

Scaramucci just now: “I’m going to get the leaking to stop” q: how? “I’m going to fire everybody, that’s how I’m going to do it.”

haha I actually kind of like him. He's like a character from one of those economic meltdown movies that came out after 2008.

It sort of feels like we've entered the mafioso phase of the Presidency. The wall will be a no show job in no time.

If there is anything workers like it's seeing all their coworkers and friends get fired. That's sure to stop the leaking and paralysis that has crippled the administration!

Scaramucci told the press that he's planning to fire assistant press secretary Michael Short. He hasn't told Short yet, or fired him yet.
Classy!!

Lining up for a recess appointment? Good way to get your guy in without having to be confirmed.

Criticize Trump all you want, but references to Hitler are inappropriate.
it de-stigmatizes the brutality of what Hitler did
and while Trump's approach is chaotic (to be polite) he is not legislating genocide.

The importance of the individual mandate is probably over stated. It never really came into full effect, and has never been truly enforced during Obama or Trump's presidencies. Getting rid of it wouldn't really change much anyway.

While true, the insurance companies would have calculated their risk as if the individual mandate existed (with a certain expected % of non-conformers).
The math drastically changes when it's no longer the law of the land, regardless of how effectively enforced it was in the first place.
