Tkachuk doesn't match his 48 points from last year.
Monahan gets in not one, but two scraps.
Hamilton finishes the year with 64 points and is a Norris nominee.

Other prediction for me:
Ferland, Monahan, and Dougie will finally get their first career hat tricks. FINALLY.

Bold - Win a freaking game in Anaheim
Bolder - Jagr signs with the Flames and get to 2,000 career points on the last game of the regular season
Boldest - But the Flames still misses the playoffs by 1 point, but then wins the draft lottery to get 1st overall pick!

Isn't the trade for pick lottery protected? If not, then screw it. Flames add Iginla at the trade deadline and go on to win the cup with Iggy and Jagr.

Flames miss the playoffs and only having to relinquish the 3rd for Smith
Brandon Hickey reneges on his decision to go to school and makes Arizona's opening roster. Ends up 3rd place in Calder voting.
Iggy signs with Anaheim and gets 2 GWG against the Flames.
Hamilton traded for spare parts, Ricardo rejoices.

Your bold prediction is the team that's made the playoffs twice in the last three years, and has added major pieces this off season is to just make the playoffs?
That's some world record lack of faith in your team.

Bold: Brouwer scores 40 points or more in a bounceback season
Bolder: Brouwer scores more than 25 goals, then keeps it going in the playoffs
Boldest: I see a fan with a Flames jersey with Brouwer #36 on it

Scoring Winger
|
Bold: Bennett scores 60 points
Bolder: Flames begin the playoffs with 4 rookies on the opening game roster
Boldest: Flames defencemen get more points than McDavid and Draisaitl combined
EDIT:
On review, the last one isn't very bold as they almost did it last year (177 pts vs. 176 pts) so:
Boldest: Flames win the Stanley Cup

Sam Bennett finishes top 5 in lead scoring playing on Colorado's top line but Flames beat the Avs in the west final and end up capturing the Stanley Cup.
Flames fans are happy about the cup but miss having a truculent guy down the middle with Bennett out of the mix.

1. Flames battle for the president's trophy. End up #2 and win the division.
2 Jankowski emerges a bigger part of the core than even the most hyped janko fans expected.
3. Smith and Lack are Jennings finalists. Much to surprise of pretty much everyone.
4. Lazar is a 40 point player and emerges finally after a poor start to his career.

Re Boldest: it would be even bolder to predict that Jankowski threads don't get jacked by pretty much any other subject. I think the list of insane topic derails in Jankowski threads Trump's and thread hijacked by janko talk.
