Golf courses in Calgary that allow non-golfers to rent carts?

I'm trying to plan a bachelor party in Calgary from Victoria and getting absolutely zero help from the other groomsmen who actually live in Calgary, so I'm turning to CP for help. We're basically doing a pretty simple bachelor party a bit of golf, backyard BBQ, then hit the bars. Nothing too fancy. However, a number of the guys who are friends with the groom aren't really into golf so I thought it'd be fun for them if they just rented a cart and came along and sat and drank beers well the people who wanted to golf, golfed. It sounds like the plan is to just do 9 holes but it's been probably 10 years since I golfed in Calgary and I'm not sure if there are any courses that offer this or which ones are good choices to use for a bachelor party. Anyone have any suggestions? Keep in mind that none of us are avid golfers so we're not looking to break the bank on any of the fancier courses.
 Thanks in advance!

Go to Schanks and whoever wants to can play the golf simulator while the other guys drink. You just have to make sure you invite Rhettzky.

We just did this a couple weekends ago for a bachelor party. Some of the guys didn't golf and they just paid the cart rental fee.

Try Fox Hollow. I am not a golfer, and I didn't lose my ball once during a company tournament there, so it can't be that hard.

Tell those pussies to man up and play golf.
Nobody is any good at golf, we all suck.

Tell the non golfers to stop being babies and hit a few balls! Heck do a 4 man scramble or something and mix them into the groups.

God no. Those simulators there are so old and horrible. Go to some place like X-factor. Nice new simulators and they also serve.

It's less about sucking and more about paying x amount of dollars in green fees to do something they find boring as hell when they'd rather just ride around in a cart for cheap and drink.

I'm surprised golf courses would allow that, but it seems some do. You'd think the last thing they'd want for their clientele is a bunch of non golfers with nothing to do but drink, riding around the course in carts.
But if they'll allow it then have fun!! I know some for sure make a big deal about any extra people actually paying green fees not just for cart. I'm assuming the main reason is that what's to stop people from just borrowing clubs and playing holes once they're out of site?

maybe they're not helping you because they don't want to go golfing.I'd say take the people who want to golf, golfing, and the rest can go to a strip bar.

Or maybe you can can your love of golf and shove it. Golf sucks. You guys are idiots for paying so much for a frustrating walk.

Further to this, what are recommendations for a very relaxed course to play for people who suck at golf and allow you to drink beer on the course? Do the Calgary public courses allow drinking?

They haven't helped from the start, even before golfing was the plan. I took the groom to Vegas and these dudes didn't want to go and pushed for a second stag to happen in Calgary and they've left all of the planning up to me.
