*If* he were brought back, seeing the greatest player in this organization's history and one of the most respected veterans in the game get a letter isn't nearly as outright crazy as you just suggested.
Wow troll much?
Let's just bet astronomical amounts to absolutely assure no one pays up on said bet.
Also thinking there is more than a 0% chance on something does in no way compute with being willing to risk 10Gs on the probability.
Edit- I see you didn't bring up the bet thing. NM - Ill stay out of this one
OK. Let's place a bet on it, shall we?
Or will you finally shut your mouth now?
lol, could you sound like anymore of a pretentious blow-hard?
All I said is you told someone who suggested the most decorated player in our franchise history might where a letter if he returned as a veteran - that it was "the kind of nonsense that has to stop".
The problem with this topic, is there's a select few of you (yourself clearly included) that are so vehemently against it that you're slightly unhinged about it.
There's just no need to assert your opinion as factual when it's not.

I thought last season for a playoff push was the perfect time to bring Iggy back. Short term, emotional push, scoring depth, toughness.
I'm actually indifferent to it now as the lineup is fairly full and I like the idea of some room for young players to make a push.
I don't think it would be the end of the world if these rumours were true, the toughness, scoring etc would be fine in a diminished role. And thinking of seeing Iggy step on the ice one more time wearing the flaming C is a special thought in it's own right.
Seeing a couple posters so wound up and angry about it kind of makes me wish it would happen. If a couple of these guys are forced to react this way about the topic as it sits now, it would be funny to see how wound up they get if it actually happens.
