Ottawa Senators have announced that they’ve signed 23 year-old defenseman Patrick Sieloff to a one year, two-way contract worth $650,000.

Good for Sieloff. I felt kinda bad for him throughout this entire situation. Kid was just trying to play his game and show what he can do and make an impression on his new team. I don't think MacArthur was wearing a non-contact jersey or anything as well. I doubt he even knew anything about MacArthur's injury history as well. Glad both parties are able to move forward from this.

IMO YES!!
A former Flames prospect that had the worst luck got another dose of bad luck hitting mr "fragile should be retired". That guy should never have been at the practice at full contact.
I for one am glad the team looked past it and signed Sieloff anyway.

Best of luck Patrick.

I haven't paid much attention to him but I assume he had a decent AHL season last year?

My comment/concern was about reviving a months old thread to discuss something new simply because the player happened to be the topic of discussion. Start a new [Signing] thread if this is new news.

I'm just not sure how this could affect someone so badly. Next person with hurt feelings will give the guy #### for starting a new thread on it. How do some.people operate in the real world?

Jesus, MacArthur is still trying to play. Dude take the 25 MILLION already while you still have half a brain! You don't get to "come back" from concussions, you just pay a heavier price down the line.

Shame on the Sens.

Good for him. As per the cry babies whining about someone posting this, seriously do you have any joy in your life? Or are you wandering around just looking for opportunities to complain? Life must be hard to live that way? Just no pleasing people in today's world it seems. Sorry for the rant.

Hold on. Did you miss the entire playoffs ? Where MacArthur played a key role in their run to the conference finals.

Ugh, Sieloff reminders. Still to this day can't believe the Flames blew a second-round pick on a guy with one goal and five apples in two USHL seasons. No chance of ever becoming an NHL player.

McCabe 44th, Severson 60th, Parayko 86th. Good job, good effort, Weisbrod.

Thank God Jankowski was still on the board, or Feaster would've taken Sieloff at #21.

Say what you will, but the man is at a goal per game pace in the NHL

But do we make a new thread for the poll? Or just add it to this one?
