I watched a ton of Knights during the Parsons years, and was over the moon when we drafted him.
I've been tempering my expectations because... goalie. But it's sounding like he's going to impress at the next level as well. Will be interesting to see what happens if Smith misses a few games. Rittich, Gillies and Parsons are exciting names to be choosing from.

Overall, the camp was interesting through the two days.
Not a lot of surprises though, which is both good and bad. There was nobody who you would expect to be good that was horrible, and nobody that was mediocre that shocked.
Looking forward to the scrimmage tomorrow to wrap things up. I will try to record it. Even if it's using Dan's go-pro.

I know you use ancient technology. is there not an uploading website you can upload it too, then download it on your computer (hopefully not windows 98)

I'll try to figure something out one way or the other. Worst case scenario, I could just take a video of the thing playing the video although that would be horrible quality wise.

Yeah, the last two I was at, I got to the turn off into cop about an hour before, and it took about 20 minutes to get into the parking lot. 40 minutes before was essentially standing room only.

To the people that have gone this week: is the traffic only bad turning into COP? Or is it generally bottlenecked due to construction? I need to go west on highway #1 and was thinking of taking Stoney trail and avoiding that area entirely...

It's bad until the end of construction just east of Stoney Trail. Inexplicably reduced to a single lane during rush hour last night. I mean, I know they have to do lane closures for construction, but a single lane during rush hour?
At least the design looks promising for good access to COP in the future, so maybe I can get down to Winsport this time next year.

You can always cut through some neighbourhoods to get around the construction. I did today
