Nashville signs Bonino (4 years, $4.1 mil AAV)

Confirming Nick Bonino is going to Nashville. 4/5 year term.

Bonino signs 4 year deal with Preds. $4.1 aav. Had other offers for more, but great fit in Nash, plus tax benefits.

I have a soft spot for Bonino because of Jim Benning giving up the best player AND pick when he traded him. Also, HBK line was one of the best line names.

If Fisher wants to keep playing, he'll undoubtedly be back in Nashville.
I view this move as more of a reaction to losing a top 6 forward in Neal, not a bottom 6 forward in Fisher.

What is he now? 2nd or 3rd liner? Center or winger? His versatility is a bonus but I've never been much of a fan of his game. Always seemed sorta meh.

Nashville needs a trade, like Duchesne, because they have taken a step back the last 2 weeks
