If Bouma's contract was at $1.3 or even $1.5 I think he's still a flame today.
It's also got to sting when he looks at the length of leash being afforded to Brouwer

Sad for Bouma... liked him as a player but not the contract. The crushed and broken hand from the first year of the contract pretty much eliminated his value. Best of Luck Lance. Thanks for your blocked shots and heart.

hmmm so the flames opted to save $1.5M this year (at the consequence of a $767k cap hit next year)....
So the benefit of this is that it gives them ~500-600k of more cap wiggle room this syear....
Seems like the team isn't done adding to the current roster....
