He's a solid D prospect, but we have enough of those. I feel like we could have used a forward that could hopefully slot in as a top 6 RW down the line.

Decent pick. Didn't think the Flames needed more D after having Andersson, Kylington, Fox, and Falkovsky, but Valimaki fits the bill.
Quality player. Not thrilled with the pick, but I understand why they did it. Hopefully his game translates and he becomes a quality #4 in the NHL.

You can trade good defensemen for anything, therefore you can never have too many D prospects.
