That's what I thought too. Vegas picked up Riley Smith for Vegas 4th round pick.
Vegas is going for young guys mostly. So I am guessing if they don't pick Engelland from the Flames, they will pick D Brent Kulak.

It's not. It was a play on the hockey cliches of don't do things that stands out or showboats, while the game is actually marketing that.

Can't decide if its a favour or not. They already lost Tryamkin and now also lose Sbisa. It's not like they had good D depth to begin with. Even though Sbisa is meh and well compensated they still have more holes on their defense to plug. And I'm not sure defensemen are lining up to go to VAN as UFAs. Does this move really help VAN? Only if they can spend that money better and I'm not sure they can lol.
