I am really trying to figure out the whole Chicago situation.

So the rumored deal was Chicago would keep Trevor Van Riemsdyk exposed as long as Vegas takes Kruger. Now with this Hossa situation is sounds like Chicago has said the deal is off.

What is stopping Vegas from taking Trevor Van Riemsdyk with their pick now?
