New 2017-2018 Uniforms: All other teams

Looks like we need a thread to discuss OTHER teams uniform changes (or no changes) for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. Some teams have started the teasing via twitter looks like.

Ottawa fans will likely be the most disappointed - as there was a large movement to move to the "O" logo as the primary.

Just looking at the others and seeing how little they've changed, I wouldn't be surprised if the Flames jersey was nearly identical to what it is now... piping, flags, and all.

If the Flames jersey was going to be nearly identical, they would've included it with the teaser full of jerseys that aren't getting redesigned.

Redwings feathers look kind of cool. Not sure if they were on the old jerseys.

The Oilers are switching to the orange jerseys full time. The Wild are switching to a green jersey full time and appear to have added a white stripe behind the logo (like the Habs and Panthers).

The materials used in the logos are switching too.


The thing is, unless a team is changing colours or logos, you're not going to see a big difference on these close-up logo photos. When we start seeing the collars and shoulders and stripes, that's when we'll start seeing any real differences.

7 teams changed logos in 2007. I was expecting that kind of change.

which seven teams are those...?
the only two teams that changed looks/logo completely was Dallas and Washingont.. and the capitals returned to the older look so really just Dallas went with someone brand spanking new.

Sharks, Senators, Lightning, Canucks all came out with new logos. Some changed majorly, others minor tweaks or colour changes. Those are just off the top of my head, might be more.

the fact that we know the flames are using the black C just means expect the exact same jersey. Rumblings of taking out the piping and flags are no better than the rumours we may be switching to retro

Blue Jackets, Sens, Stars (not brand new, that's only two years old), Capitals, Wild, Canucks, Sharks... Edit: Tampa also.

And the Sabres, Ducks and Thrashers changed the year before.

personally i’d classify most of those as tweaks then full on changes to the logo. The blue jackets had been using the logo they switched to in 2007 since 2003 as an alternative, so hardly anything mind blowing. Minnesota had those two logos since 2003-2004, that ain't new.

Canucks, sharks, tampa, sens, all pretty minor tweaks, hardly a change.

From the beginning, they said that this year's changes wouldn't be as drastic as the Edge re-designs.

The only teams I'm really surprised didn't change their logos are Ottawa and Washington.

Well they 'tweaked' the design or colour of the logo, or completely changed the logo (doesn't matter if they had it years prior, it's a change) or they changed primary colours. I agreed I wouldn't call them complete "logo changes".

Comparing it to these teasers, the only comparables would be Oilers, Wild, Sabres...

Devils logo looks different. Could be wrong though.

Edit: on second look it's probably not changed.
