I like online better. During my time I was able to swap my pair in whites for a pair in greens. I also wanted to swap my set of 3 in greens (last row) to better greens or oranges, but there were none.
However, several hours later, right before the whole thing was suppose to end, a set of 3 opened up in orange and I grabbed them.
I don't know if I would have had the same luck in person.
How does it go with the 3 seats? Is it difficult to sell when you can't make it to the game?

Thanks, do they act as separate sets as you can renew sets separately and different times for relocation events,etc?

I didn't have trouble selling them. Compared to my pair in green, the 3 in orange were more profitable. I guess sometimes they would take longer to sell.

They are separate sets. But I get the same timeslot for both.

A heads up on the online seat relocation, there was an error with the software last year that wouldn't let me make an upgrade that would have been allowed in person and I missed a sweet pair of seats because of it (211 row 12). The rule is that you can't leave a single seat, so you can't take two out of a set of three for example. However the software also wouldn't allow me to grab a pair if there was a single in the same row, three seats away.

lol...its far more likely that your father-in-law is giving you a massive discount on your share of tickets because he's a good guy and doesn't want you to feel like he's doing you a favor.
