I can't say as it's ever been from reputable sources so take it with the huge grain of salt I did, but it was more along the lines of still not policing how much THC was going into edibles, etc. I'm happy to be wrong.

One of the raided shops is a block away from me. Apparently a lobby of licensed mj dispensaries were pressuring the government behind the scenes to crack down on unlicensed dispensaries. They invested a lot of capital, only to have people use a less than legal means.
