Wrote down details.
Meticulously, one might say. I'm sorry it doesn't pass your arbitrary requirements.

Not only did Germany know they were dragging the world into war, it was their intention for some time. This is not simply my opinion, there is all kinds of documentation on this.
WW2 is one of the most studied and documented events in human history - if not the most documented. And you just keep making things up on the subject - in order to try and paint the English as worse, I presume.

You'll need a citation showing that Germany wanted a world war.
Germany wanted to annex a large portion of Europe and you don't think that they would have gladly done that without having to fight on more fronts than they had to? Drawing the British Empire into the war is what made it a "world" war in the European theatre. Everything I read suggests that Hitler didn't believe that the British would follow through with their threat of coming to Poland's aid and that their pacts with the USSR, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Romania would weaken the resolve of Britain and France to fight a war. Germany arranged a series of non-aggression pacts for the purpose of avoiding a dog pile. Hitler was trying to make his enemies appease him and it worked for a while. There is also evidence that Germany tried hard to make peace with Britain prior to attacking the Soviet Union.

Sorry I suggested that Germans got racism out of their system and that countries should outsource their presidency/prime ministership to Germans. Wasn't meant to touch off a debate on how meticulous the Holocaust was.

I hope you aren't referring to an entire nation of people as ####ing scumbags. I believe there is a term for disparaging an entire RACE of people.

What Serbia and Croatia did during the Yugoslav wars was abhorrent and repulsive. As much as the Germans during WW2 were ####ing scumbags, so were the Serbians and Croatians during those wars.
While the whole country may not have been ####ing scumbags, those I encountered were.
I believe there is also a term for trying to kill of an entire RACE of people.

That is news to me. The top generals in Croatia was acquitted of any wrongdoing thereby proving there was no conspiracy to commit war crime atrocities by the Croatian side. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-20352187
What you witnessed there during the war was not a centrally planned genocide or ethnic cleansing operation. If individuals conducted war in an unprofessional manner that is on them. But it's not like the Croatians asked for the war and had a standing professional army ready to go.
May I also remind you that the remnants Yugoslavia, dominated by Serbian officials, invaded Croatia and made war on them. Croatia didn't invade anyone else to try to gain territory or power. I hardly believe it to be fair to cast both nations in the exact same light.

I am going to ask you not to tell me what i witnessed or experienced in that country. I have a memory of standing in front of a demolished house in Daruvar, one of many. Our Croatian interpreter was happy to tell us that the family had been driven out and their house destroyed. When I asked where they went he said he hoped they were dead as they were Serbs.
Lucky for Croatia they had an open supply of weapons and equipment from the US and Germany. Hell in Sector South the Croats didn't even take of the German insignia before wearing the uniforms, while they were shooting at us and civilians.
Write whatever narrative you need. I am use to people not believing what happened in that part of the world during the 90's.

And yet it was minuscule compared to the actions of world powers since the Industrial Age. If the recent Balkan Wars didn't happen as the Information Age was beginning, they would would barely be a footnote.
An even more ironic aspect is that historically, Serbs and Croats were not enemies and were brotherly people. The problems didn't start until Britain and France defeated Hungary with Serbia's help and as their prize, the Serbian monarch was allowed to pillage their neighbors. The British-backed Karađorđević dictatorship that followed was brutal, had state sponsored terrorism and pretty much killed the relationship and trust between Yugoslav peoples. Interestingly enough, Albert Einstein wrote a plea to the League of Nations asking them to intervene early in the dictatorship and predicted that if nothing was done, there would eventually be an uncontrollable backlash.
Just another example of the major European powers messing up everyone else's junk for their own gain and then getting on their soap box when it all hits the fan. There are examples of this all over the world.
