The live comments in the YouTube stream are hilarious, I have little doubt half of them are paid Russian internet trolls.

I wish Trump's father and done the proper thing and pulled out earlier.

What arrogance, lets renegotiate the accords everyone else already agreed to for Trump interests.

This is mind-blowingly embarrassing for the US right now. I wonder if Elon Musk quits like he said he would.

So reading up the on the agreement, Trump is a complete idiot. He keeps on railing about renegotiating fairer terms for the US... but he doesn't realize that the Paris agreement targets were completely voluntary.
https://arstechnica.com/science/2017...ate-agreement/

Even if his goal were to fix the economics for his blue-collar workers he could have just stayed in the agreement and submitted more lax targets and messed with the rest of the world.

Move stinks of just a distraction to throw people off the Trump-Russia scandal.

Elon Musk‏Verified@elonmusk
Am departing presidential councils. Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world.

"New York mayor: City will uphold Paris climate agreement if Trump doesn't"

http://thehill.com/homenews/news/335...f-trump-doesnt

And then the top comment in the associated Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/co...paris_climate/):

"I'm so glad I live in New York City and not in the United States." - R.L. Stine

Usually I can get on board with something that an administration does, even if I don't like everything that it does.

This republican administration has basically made every ####ty decision possible. Everything they do is absolute garbage.

Not possible, Trump specifically called out Pittsburgh as a city he's going to represent.
