I think he's playing pretty well. Just shouldn't ideally be playing first pair minutes yet, but Pittsburgh doesn't have options.

Oh, that wasn't good on Rinne. Can't let that through.

Poor Rinne. Having an Elliott like series thus far.

I don't really agree. He's decent offensively, but he's putrid defensively. Like Wideman & Bartkowski bad defensively.

He had made a series of big saves in the first half of the period. Let's see how he responds.

Rinne is every bit as boom/bust as Elliott is. No middle ground as he's either really good or really bad.

My point of view is that he's doing okay for a guy who should be on the second pair, not playing 22+ minutes in the Stanley Cup finals.
Might be in over his head at times, but it's wrong to call him "bad" based on that.

Yikes, Rinne has to be much , much better for the Preds to have any chance.

The difference is that his really good is higher than Elliott's.

The loss of Letang in action.
Imagine losing Giordano before the playoffs started.

I feel that Nashville is so much better on defense that Rinne just needs to be okay.
Murray needs to be amazing for Pittsburgh to win.
