Forget the covfefe crap, all questions regarding Comey and Russia are now being directed to outside counsel. Seems slightly more important no?
Likely is response to the news that Comey will testify that Russian Don tried to get him to drop the investigation stuff. Watching how Republicans totally ignore all this will be interesting at least.
He cannot even just say oops, and move on, has to lie about this as well. Incredible insight in to Trumps fragile ego.
That's what makes it extra funny. It would pretty much just end the joke immediately if he just said Trump was tired and made a typo. Everyone can relate to that.
But the fact Trump forces people to take him so seriously that he can't admit being "normal" at anything is what makes it funny.

The do something stupid when bad news comes out is starting to seem like a strategy.

Trump's Razor suggests the latter. He's not playing 3 dimensional chess, he's just an incompetent buffoon who has blundered his way through his entire life.
People are getting pissed with these ultra-conservatives. This song is headed to the top of the UK charts, and it isn't getting ANY airplay because the radio stations are afraid of push back from May's government.
