When are we finally going to get to see his birth certificate? Enough is enough.

His fall from grace is still shocking to me.

He seemed like the perfect gentleman athlete who was able to navigate the scrutiny of media and fans with ease.

While I appreciate using the thread bump, perhaps we should change the thread title. This goes beyond "transgressions" and should be taken seriously.

It is crazy how many racist comments are made in the first few pages of this thread. Times sure have changed.

I dunno. It seems like anyone who can't swing a golf club cause people are breathing too loudly might be a good candidate for having the wheels fall off.

I stopped looking around post 60, but I only noticed like 2.

Times haven't really changed that much.

Where have you been for the last 8 years?? Tiger needed you and you didn't do anything about it.

Yeah it will make for a really good movie one day. He was arguably the most recognized athlete in the world. He was looking like a shoo-in as the greatest golfer of all time as a new breed of athletic golfer that was machine-like in his efficiency. A $100 million Nike deal. A trophy wife and a near flawless image. It appeared on the outside at least like he was living the dream of a perfect life. Then his career and personal life came crashing down hard. Would be a good watch.

Meant with Calgarypuck. You will not see racist posts anymore. Maybe we banned everyone that made them, but i like to think people are a little more careful about it.

I saw rubecube's comment, had some spare time, so tread back in time to see what everyone talked about waaaay back.

The culture in this forum has changed a LOT since this thread was started, and WOW there are a lot of lifetime bans in here.

I find Tiger's fall, its velocity and its depth very fascinating. He seemed to have everything so together, now can't do anything right.

I don't follow golf much, but doesn't he have a back problem, and that's what's hindering his golf game? Could be the divorce scandal, I don't know.

"Golf", and people in general, seemed willing to forgive him for his transgressions, but his health wouldn't allow him to get back to form. If I'm totally wrong on this, straighten me out. I thought that was how it was.

ANYWAY, that mugshot was a bit surprising. "Tiger has really let himself go", I thought. Then realized that it's a mugshot and he's 42 years old and he's gained a few pounds and lost some hair. Like every man in the world.

(my sympathy for Tiger today goes totally against my hacking on him and for some reason arguing about Bill Burr years ago in this thread, so let's ignore that please)

It's worth noting if you go into any old thread deep in pages you will see a lot of banned posters and that could be due to a lot of things not just racism. I just realized recently that Mr. Mastadonfarm got a lifetime ban so nothing really surprises me anymore. Rubecube instigates a lot of this himself as well sidetracking many of threads with his persona agenda.

I think the list of posters who haven't got a lifetime ban is more surprising.

I read the first three pages, nothing racist I saw. Actually had some good chuckles, seems like it was a lot more loose and breezy around here.
