Now if only Vancouver would follow suit, the NHL could finally colour-coordinate all the teams worth hating. You know-for new fans.

I hate the Ducks, but think I would hate them less if they go back to their old logo that they used on their orange thirds this year.

i really liked the fonts used for the names/numbers on the "calgary" word-mark thirds (with the exception of the goofy looking '5')

but all around - this is a great job! ahhhh...if only the flames would let the fans have some input and not the usual out-to-lunch focus group that i'm sure they hired to tell them what would be best

Scary Eloranta, I prefer the first ones, but either way, great job!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I would pre order both of these the night of the draft.

No white sleeves on the home jersey. Drunken sports fans guaranteed to get chicken wing sauce on them.

What about a combo or both? Combine the V-Striping with the retro shoulders and arms.

I think that would be perfect.

I'm a fan of the chevron striping. Evocative of the 2004 team and a return of the 1989 colours. I like this jersey concept.

I'd make the shoulder epaulets pointed instead of round though. As a slight tweak. Otherwise, a solid concept.

Opened the laptop and get these beauties again. I love these, but have a few thoughts that could look pretty cool too.

What if they both shared the same shoulder/arms?

Would it be possible to see these with MrMike's simpler suggestion:

Why can't we just have these and be done with it. They are absolutely perfect in every way, leave them for the next 20 years. We'd never ask for another jersey again[/QUOTE]

but with a tweak to the road logo?

I wonder if we'll see them move the numbers to the top of the shoulders like on the new Panthers' jerseys (and the Oilers Orange Puke jerseys)?

It really does make the numbers easier to read from the tv view.

Was pretty surprised by this article as they look at the makeup of the game 5 Penguins lineup.

Thoughts?
My thought is that you posted on the wrong thread....

Maybe this summer we should do a ranking (similar to the prospect rankings)
Great work!

This should add some fuel to the jersey fire ....

http://news.sportslogos.net/2017/05/...ms-in-2017-18/

Calgary one of 12 teams listed to see some changes, though the writer says the changes for any or all of the 12 could be minor.

If they reverted back to the 04 style uniforms I would be happy, retros would be nice but I doubt they'll go that drastic.
