Default Gelcoat fiberglass repair in Calgary?

I need to find someone to repair a few small cracks in a gelcoat fiberglass shell. Any recommendations in the Calgary area?

If I don't get any recommendations than I think I will call around to a couple of the boat dealers next week and see if they have someone who does repairs.

Thanks.

Glenmore boats is probably your best option.

A guy I worked with said that he has had some work on his boat in the past, said it was stupidly expensive.

Have you gone down to the boat district? You know boat's afloat, boat world, world of boats - they are all writhing walking distance

I did my own fairly extensive repairs a couple years ago. It is expensive because it takes a long time!

Here is a photo of the crack, only about 1 inch long.

My wild ass guess would be $400-$700.

If you don't care too much about how it looks(though this appears to be a newer boat) and you are handy it isn't to hard to do if you just want to seal it. Making it look good is the hard part. Lots of guides on the internet, and you'd need about $50 worth of sandpaper and gelcoat. Dremmel is handy as well. That's all assuming the fiberglass isn't cracked underneath. If you push on it and you have movement, it is more than a gelcoat repair. The new gelcoat will just crack.
