If someone does get hit by a pitch tonight, I look forward to the total ineptude that will be displayed the MLB umpires as I'm pretty sure things will get out of hand.
Apparently it was a dual consideration. MLB was involved in the suspension decision.

I get the idea that you can't use language like that on the field (i play in a hockey league that will ban you for using those words and Im cool with it while many arent), but two game suspension for words

Good on the Jays in this situation. They have had a low tolerance to situations like this the past few seasons.

the Jays lineup is still not out yet. Maybe they are having a rock-paper-scissors tournament to see who leads off.

Maybe put the rookie Cecilliani out there!

Let Jose lead off, get it out of the way

Jay's pitcher missed his spot for sure.

Looked like an accident.

However, as others stated... I expect someone from the Jays to get hit very early on.

I hope Smith gets into the game tonight for his MLB debut, he's an Atlanta boy so it would be nice to get him his debut at home.

There's talk that Bautista did that as an attempt to take the focus off of Pillar.

That's some pretty wishful thinking from some pretty high level Bautista apologists in my opinion. Bautista was made about the quick pitching in my mind and made sure to let the Braves no it after he hit that home run.

That's a load of crap. I've seen Bautista do that same bat flip many times.

man... Ceciliani 2for2, 2 runs, 3 RBI.. hits a nice HR and injures his shoulder on the swing.

6-0 Jays and a rain delay

Haha. Stroman goes back to back after Maile.

What were the odds of that happening? Lol

That has to be the statistical unlikeliest pair of back-to-back HR's ever hit in the MLB and I don't think I'm exaggerating.

@SNstats
#BlueJays Luke Maile & Marcus Stroman are the first AL catcher / pitcher in history to hit back-to-back Home Runs in an interleague game

Last time pitcher and catcher went back to back was 1970 according to Buck and Pat
