You can see he's had enough of listening to that bull#### as everyone else has. Plus the ducks shut him down. #### McDavid. #### the Oilers. Just about Everything is right in hockey again. Need Ottawa out, and to see Kesler cry when they lose round 3.

I would trade Brouwer for Eberle without hesitation. At least Eberle can score, and his contract is only $1.5 million more for one less year.

Extremely happy to be wrong here. Satisfied?
Told you Estrada, Williams game 7 win streak ends and so does the Ducks game 7 losing streak. Both on the same night.

I hate the oilers as much as anybody (half my family lives in that filthy city). Safe to say I probably wanted the Ducks to win as much as any other Flame fan. However I was fully confident that the Ducks would prevail tonight even after that no show in game 6. The Oilers relied on Talbot way to much, and I was confident as long as Gibson played good they would secure the victory.

Glass half full.

Why do the Oilers keep questioning it ever having gotten to a game 7??? Do they not realize it was 3-2 Ducks at one point?

5/5/17 - A historic debacle that isn't likely to be repeated anytime soon and Oiler fans looked to anyone outside of the Pope to blame for the epic collapse that night.

Thanks for a mini-ATL, Scorpion. Also for confirming that Principe is a giant wiener.

Does anyone have a .gif of McNugget skating into his own player behind his net with 10 minutes to go down 2-1 in Game 7?

Between that and the glorious nudging of teammates we have all witnessed a legend being born this series.

So Eberle cannot score in the playoffs, has a huge contract, is terrible defensively and has a really poor compete level.

Why do we want him?

Because Troy Brouwer cannot score in the playoffs or the regular season, has a worse contract, is terrible defensively, and has a really poor compete level.

It's turning #### into just regular trash. It's still an upgrade.

Brouwer had a poor season, I won't disagree. If the Flames can improve the team by subtracting him from the roster, fine by me.

But watching Eberle I see I guy that just doesn't care if he wins or not. If I had to pick between two players I'll take the one that hates to lose.

And Bouwer's compete level is miles ahead of Eberles' IMO.

Had the pleasure of taking this one in - in person. What a fun night.
Ducks fans were great - and the entire atmosphere was fantastic from the drop of the puck.
That rink is wonderful - I really hope that when they build a new rink in Calgary they build it more up than out - creates just a way better environment and intimate feeling.

Spent some time watching McDavid away from the puck and was struck by some of his lazy play. He's got a lot to learn - which he may do. But many great players don't. And that's what separates the truly elite like Crosby from others.

Fun night. One of the best games I've attended in person.

Well if there's one team that does well developing nos 1 picks its clearly Edmonton so no worries there.

It's absolutely insane how slow Lucic is.

Guy has got to be one of the top 10 slowest players in the league and he's still in his 20's. Enjoy that long term contract Oilers. #Awful

Agreed. Eberle's been crap for quite a while now. An actual trade would mean Browuer in Edmonton, playing with maybe Draisaitl, crashing the Flames' net. I'm not up for trading a guy to the Oilers who has played well against the Flames in the past, has only had this one off year.

Landed in Heathrow. First thing I did was get on Wi-Fi and check the score. YAY! I was expecting the worst but this is a great start to the trip.

Go Smashville go Sens

Awesome!

Agree 100%. Love the way that rink goes straight up instead of outwards like most rinks. Creates a way better atmosphere.

One of my favorite rinks to watch a game. And I agree that the fans are great too.

Well that was a pair or letdowns last night. Looks like hockey season is over for me now although I might turn in for some of the Finals.

That said, go Preds.
