It always seemed unbalanced to implement a challenge that could really only take away goals, and not reinstate good goals.

Why won't they show the replay at the line? Christ, SN is annoying.

Unfortunately once the whistle goes the play is dead and fair enough... Players stop playing.

Still that looked onside to me.

Lol about RSN making that call a non-issue. If it went against the Oilers they would have focused on the replay much more as they kind of swept that under the rug.

Why would you make that offside call if it's not clear? There's video review. Instead there's no chance to get it right.

Oooo looks like the right call after all about time Sportsnet ! Perhaps only showed that since it favoured the Oilers

On hat replay it does look like maybe the right call.

They not showed the replay once on NBCSN as well.

They just showed it again and blew it up and it was offside.

NBC just showed the blue line camera. It was the right call.

If they reviewed that, whatever the call on the ice is would have stood.

Call against the Oilers: 4 days of in-depth panels and rule book reviews.
Call against the Ducks: 1 quick replay and an in-depth discussion about a 5 year old kid in the crowd whose Oiler-fan parents stuck him in an Oiler jersey against his will.

Hmm, it's funny the NHL decided to release that view when it supported the call. No way we see that if it was a blown call.
