Isn't the first sentence of the second paragraph an outright lie? I mean not that that's surprising.

There's definitely a possibility that the House and Senate GOP break with Trump over this.
LOL, good one!

Given the recent controversies surrounding the Director, I believe a fresh start will serve the FBI and the nation well.
White House officials are saying there will be a "lot more house cleaning" to be done.
Quote:
"Over the last few months there has been tension between Justice Department leadership and senior staff of FBI regarding the handling of the Clinton investigation and how Comey was running the agency, according to multiple officials. One Justice Department official suggested there could be more changes coming at the FBI. "There is a lot of cleaning house that needs to be done," one official said.""
Purge of the FBI is coming. Just as the DOJ was purged. Just as the State department was purged. So there are two outcomes at this point, either GOP will start impeachment process over this issue/be forced to by mass protests or, given the current democratic slide, the US will have only one name on the ballot in 2020.
Whoever comes after Comey will definitely purge all the Trump investigation evidence as well.
i am pretty stunned to be honest... its a move that is similar to what Erdogan is doing in Turkey in effect, if not actually with the same show....
Kasparov was on CNN a couple weeks ago talking about how he feels Trump is jealous of some of these dictator types and how much control they have. This move is right out of that playbook.

Good interview.

The Republicans back then had a backbone. Now you have paper tigers the likes of McCain and Graham. Not going to happen until there is blood on the streets.

i believe it... especially when his first bill couldn't pass muster in the House due to his own party failing to support it...!
and then the loose talk (which is pretty much anything out of his mouth) about changing the legislative process to one with a simply majority?! Outrageous... even GOP were speaking out on that point....
Sorry Donald, Democracy doesn't simply function on executive orders alone...
Saw that. It's certified so that means it's true. The collaborators that support this Republican administration will have an excuse for all of this quickly.
